set_ylog
(plottype='all')¶ New plots will display a logarithmically-scaled Y axis.
This setting only affects plots created after the call to set_ylog.
Parameters: plottype (optional) – The type of plot that is to use a log-scaled X axis. The options are the same as accepted by plot, together with the ‘all’ option (which is the default setting). See also
plot()
- Create one or more plot types.
set_xlog()
- New plots will display a logarithmically-scaled x axis.
set_ylinear()
- New plots will display a linear Y axis.
Examples
Use a logarithmic scale for the Y axis of ‘data’ plots:
>>> set_ylog('data') >>> plot('data', 'arf')
All plots use a logarithmic scale for the Y axis.
>>> set_ylog() >>> plot_fit()
