get_data_contour_prefs¶

sherpa.ui.get_data_contour_prefs()¶ Return the preferences for contour_data.
Returns: prefs – Changing the values of this dictionary will change any new contour plots. The default is an empty dictionary. Return type: dict See also
contour_data()- Contour the values of an image data set.
Notes
The meaning of the fields depend on the chosen plot backend. A value of
None(or not set) means to use the default value for that attribute, unless indicated otherwise.color- The color to draw the contours. The default is
None. style- How to draw the contours. The default is
None. thickness- What thickness of line to draw the contours. The default is
None. xlog- Should the X axis be drawn with a logarithmic scale? The
default is
False. ylog- Should the Y axis be drawn with a logarithmic scale? The
default is
False.
Examples
Change the contours to be drawn in ‘green’:
>>> contour_data() >>> prefs = get_data_contour_prefs() >>> prefs['color'] = 'green' >>> contour_data()
