Personal 
I am fortunate enough to have turned my passion, astronomy, into my profession. Apart from my work, I really enjoy:
- Music: I listen to very eclectic music, though my favourite band is The Gathering. During my PhD, I played with some fellow Sterrewachters+ one theoretical physicist. We did covers in a style between Rage Against the Machine and Polka.
- Films and TV series: I spend way too much of my spare time in watching series like Twin Peaks, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, House etc.
- Board games and video games
- Candles and incense sticks
- Coffee and chocolate, big addict I am
- Space settlements
- The sea/ocean
- Travelling
- Linux Mint
- Hieronymus Bosch and Gustav Klimt
I try to stay away from:
- Religion
- Eating fish
