2´ × 2´ optical DSS-II images around each ROSAT-detected source above. The smoothed inner 4.5s Chandra contours have a radius ~ 6´´. i.e. ~ 2 × the actual positional uncertainty in the corners of the ACIS-I FoV. Typical ROSAT PSPC positional uncertainties (~ 20´´; outer circles) in many cases include multiple optical candidates. Chandra source IDs are less ambiguous.
