A quick oral quiz is in order, ``What are flats? What are zeros? How are data corrected?'' Then the student is ready to go. They install the camera, point the telescope to the same sequence of targets used in week 2. Then they acquire, process and store the data. Now the students are ready to use the 14" for scientific applications. It should be noted that none of the students are perfect with the system, and periodic discussions about the maintenance and operation of the telescope should be held over an observing season.
