Description

The Chandra X-ray Center is hosting a rolling Ask-an-Astro/Statistician discussion table during the summer meeting of the American Astronomical Society (Jun 1-3 2020). We will have several statisticians and astrostatisticians present at designated times (when the Interactive Exhibit Halls are open) at the Chandra Booth to discuss astrostatistics related issues with interested astronomers attending AAS 236. Questions ranging from mathematical foundations of Bayesian analysis to Machine Learning to the intricacies of X-ray data analysis are welcome.
