I am a Post-Doc at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics ( Main page ). I belong to the High-energy astrophysics division and my research makes mostly, but not exclusively, use of high-energy observations (X-ray and UV) to characterize the accretion, winds and outflows of young stars. With my adviser Scott Wolk and other members of this group we work on the properties of stellar clusters, e.g. the Orion star forming region or IRAS20050+2720.
Before I came here, I studied physics in Hamburg and wrote my diploma and PhD thesis under the supervision of Jürgen Schmitt at the Hamburger Sternwarte .
