Hello, and welcome to my website. I'm an Assistant Professor of Physics at Elon University and a Research Associate in Astrophysics at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. I also hold a research affiliation with MIT. My main research interests are X-ray and multiwavelength observations of phenomena related to supermassive black holes in Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN). I am particularly interested in the cosmological impact of AGN outflows and the role of spin-powered AGN feedback in galaxy evolution. I'm passionate about education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to the wider community with my work on the History Channel's 'The Universe' TV series. Here you'll find information on my research, some photos, together with some links that I find useful. You can also find a copy of my CV.
