class sherpa.astro.instrument.ARFModelNoPHA(arf, model)[source]¶

Bases: sherpa.astro.instrument.ARFModel

ARF convolution model without associated PHA data set.

Notes

Since there is no PHA data set, there is no correction for any AREASCAL setting associated with the data.

Attempt to set the parameter values, and ranges, for the model to match the data values. This is intended as a rough guess, so it is expected that the model is only evaluated a small number of times, if at all.
