----- ------ ---- ---- -----

Beam put back to 0,0 for all subsequent tests. At some point roughly around here SSD_X probably started to warm up. This may invalidate the following counting rate linearity tests (or possibly even earlier tests). We haven't had time to investigate.

Counting Rate Linearity

Used 5-mm-diameter 250-um-thick Al filter with SSD_X on white beam. Did this to knock out low-channel x-rays to eliminate complexities of counts falling below LLD as a function of counting rate. Pulser rate increased to ~102 Hz.

Saw strange things in spectrum. Runs 500471-476 were to diagnose. SSD getting warm. Refill with LN2. Run 500477 is good background.

Relative aperture sizes

Listed as: runID, CMDB-ID

Absolute QE

0 filter, 5-mm SSD_X aperture

Reinject beam.

125-um-thick Al filter in 5-mm aperture.

Kicked off beam a little after 5 p.m. local time. Swapped SSDs in prep for second half, starting Friday at 10 p.m.

Notes

For runs 500424-426, add 1 to the QM-2.0#. RJA started run 500423 a few seconds before the stages had been moved--no big deal. There then ensued some confusion over the coordination of CMDB-IDs with mapping positions. The positions listed above are correct (95% confidence), but the CMDB-IDs as listed in the file headers are not correct.
