FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

EIGHTEENTH ANNUAL NERQUAM

New England Regional Quasar and AGN Meeting


This year's meeting will be on 

**** FRIDAY, MAY 30, AT CENTER FOR ASTROPHYSICS ****

organized by Belinda Wilkes and Jonathon McDowell.

The format will be similar to previous years, with news items,
contributed papers and posters. There will be three science sessions and,
depending on the contributions submitted, one of these may be allocated
to a special session. There will be ample time for discussion, culminating 
with wine and cheese. Because of the traditional informality of NERQUAM 
meetings, and the absence of a registration fee, this is a good meeting 
for graduate students and even undergraduates to attend.

Please mark the date in your calendar, and forward this to students and
others who are not on the present NERQUAM mailing list, but may wish to
attend.
