A brief history of me

I found a web site about my maternal grandmother's side of the family. All these Howletts are relatives, though I only know a few. My grandmother is Marion Howlett LaCentra.

I was born in Boston and, except for a few early years in Penfield, NY (suburb of Rochester), grew up in the town of Wellesley, Massachusetts where I went to school and, eventually, to Wellesley College. I majored in Astronomy and graduated in 1987.

Following graduation there was

working at Space Telescope Science Instutute (pre-launch) in the Research Support Branch.
not earning a degree in the Astronomy Grad Program at University of Victoria in Brittish Columbia
working at the (now closed) Center for EUV Astrophysics
finally getting back to Boston, the world's most perfect city, here at the Center for Astrophysics, first in Solar and Stellar Physics and now in High Energy.

I'm now an apartment owner. I live in Inman Square.
