Science Education and Outreach Internships
in the HEA Division

Unpaid internships are available in the High Energy Astrophysics Division. These positions are variable in length, but a minimum committment of five hours per week are requested. These positions are offered year round and are suitable for anyone with an interest in public outreach and science education. A background or interest in science is helpful but not required.

These positions are available to anyone, but may be most suitable for high school seniors looking for a year end project, retired persons, or college students seeking practical experience.

These internships are registered with the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. and can be verified by future employers. Low cost housing may be available for summer positions.
