SIXA Solid State Spectrometer Array


SIXA is a multi-element X-ray photon counting spectrometer, suitable for moderate resolution (~200 eV FWHM) spectroscopy in the energy range from 0.5 to 20 keV. It consists of 19 discrete, hexagonally arranged, circular detector elements, constructed from lithium-drifted silicon (Si(Li)) wafers.
