6.2 Effective Area Confirmation

Accuracy: 1% of peak intensity
Accumulate images. Several per chip are required, because of ACIS counting rate limits. Also, there are four chips. Four subarray readout modes, covering 4 arcsec, 11 arcsec, 55 arcsec and 4 arcmin will be used to permit acquisition of data at as high counting rates as possible in the inner part of the PRF. See ACIS description for details.
